Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Wave — including our mobile, web, and desktop applications, our website, and our phone and messaging features (together, the "Services"). Wave is operated by Mohrer Associates LLC ("Wave," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

The Services

Wave provides AI-powered recording, transcription, and summarization for meetings, calls, and voice notes, along with related features such as search, integrations, and — where available — dedicated phone numbers for calling and text messaging. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.

Subscriptions and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription, billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe depending on where you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation and refund handling follow the policies of the store you purchased through; subscriptions purchased on our website can be cancelled from your account settings and remain active through the end of the current billing period.

Recording Laws

Laws about recording conversations vary by state and country, and some require the consent of all participants. You are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including obtaining any required consent from the people you record.

Phone and Text Messaging Terms

Where available, Wave lets you purchase a dedicated phone number to make and receive calls and to send and receive text messages (SMS) with people you know. These terms apply to messaging on Wave numbers:

• Program: Wave phone and messaging, operated by Mohrer Associates LLC. Messaging is person-to-person and conversational — you choose who you message and what you say.
• Message frequency varies based on your usage and conversations.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt-out: recipients of messages from a Wave number can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from that number. After opting out, they will receive one final message confirming the opt-out and no further messages will be sent.
• Help: recipients can reply HELP at any time, or contact us at support@wave.co.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You agree not to use Wave numbers for bulk or automated messaging, marketing to people who have not consented to hear from you, or any unlawful, deceptive, or harassing communication. Content involving sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, or illegal substances is prohibited, as is any content that violates applicable carrier guidelines or CTIA messaging principles. We may apply sending limits and may suspend phone and messaging features for accounts that violate these rules or generate carrier complaints.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services — including attempting to access other users' data, interfering with or disrupting the Services, reverse engineering our software except where permitted by law, or using the Services to violate any law or the rights of others.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the recordings, transcripts, messages, and other content you create with Wave. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Services — for example, storing your recordings, transcribing them, generating summaries, and syncing your content across your devices. We do not use your content to train generalized AI models. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The Services, including our software, design, and branding, are owned by Mohrer Associates LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated transcripts and summaries may contain errors; verify important information before relying on it. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mohrer Associates LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon account deletion, your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by updating this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
