Can I cancel my Wave Pro subscription anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your Wave Pro subscription at any time from Settings inside any Wave app. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period.

Yes. Prices may differ when purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or directly through Wave, and may vary by region or currency. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

What happens to my recordings if I downgrade from Pro to Free?

Your existing recordings, transcripts, and summaries remain accessible. After downgrading you are limited to 30 minutes of new recording per month, but nothing already recorded is deleted.

Refund requests for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play must be submitted to Apple or Google. For purchases made directly through Wave, contact support@wave.co within 14 days of purchase.

Wave does not currently offer a student or non-profit discount. The free tier covers most student lecture-recording use cases on a per-class basis.

Does Wave train AI on my recordings?

No. Wave does not use your recordings, transcripts, or summaries to train AI models on any plan, including the free tier. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and Wave is SOC 2 compliant via Vanta.
